ACCESS TO THE LEGAL PROFESSION BY LLB GRADUATES FROM PRIVATE HIGHER INSTITUTIONS
In reference to the ruling of the Constitutional Court on 11 December 2019 in the case: Independent Institute of Education (Pty) Limited v Kwazulu-Natal Law Society and Others  ZACC 47 we have attached the ruling for your convenience to read. In summary Southern Business School is looking forward to enabling our Bachelor of Laws (LLB) graduates to practice as legal practitioners in the future, making a difference and sustaining our relatively new democracy by implementing law principals ethically and responsibly.
NB: Please note that Graduates of the LLB must first complete the BAR exam in order to be admitted into the law society. Entry into the legal profession as attorneys or advocates requires the successful completion of the Board Examinations.
